About Our Partner

The Bodhi Battalion was founded in 2015 to address the needs of veterans who are overwhelmed with life challenges. They may struggle with homelessness, trauma, substance abuse or difficult life transitions. Unfortunately, many veterans do not know how to access their VA benefits, or they cannot receive any benefits due to their discharge status, legal issues or former area of service. With limited resources and community connections, veterans also may not have access to reliable transportation to get to and from the VA or other treatment locations. They may feel lost and alone – stuck spiraling down a painful life path. Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to housing homeless veterans and helping veterans find the treatment, guidance and security they need to rebuild their lives. The Bodhi (pronounced Bo-dee, meaning “awakening”) Battalion recognizes the sacrifices veterans have made for our country and seeks to ensure they all receive compassionate and well-rounded support.
